JOB PURPOSE
Together with the Management Team responsible for;
- Continually improving the present (and future) performance of Tigo Tanzania
- Creating team spirit based on the Tigo culture
- Stimulating innovation and consumer focus throughout the operation

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing resources to deliver the offer in alignment with company strategy
- Ensuring profitable customer intake (mass market and corporate)
- Optimizing and innovating the distribution process
- Developing team skills and ensuring the transfer knowledge
- Validating needs identified at Product Brief profile, defining strategy and/or plans as input for final Blueprint of the offer
- Executing the acquisition of all "Market Mobile" needs for the development of the Offer and validating and executing the Training Plan, related to "Market Mobile" activities
- Developing logistics for POP material distribution and training to sales channels.
- Selling the offer to consumers, including development of "Street dynamics".
- Execute Dealers loyalty evaluation and prepare frontline feedback report
Leader
- Is responsible for an effective flow of information and keeping managers and employees well informed
- Responsible of providing business information for input of consumer/industry/business analysis
- Meets with the managers in the Market Mobile Department
- Performs all managerial HR tasks in accordance with Tigo People policies
- Is responsible for the department to work effectively as a team
- Ensures successor planning and management development
- Is responsible for development of managers/team leaders and employees
- Motivates managers/team leaders and employees
- Is responsible for own development
Manager
- Reports on business & product performance
- Translates organizational goals into departmental action plan in cooperation with the managers or team leaders
- Ensures that departmental action plan is implemented
- Is responsible for long term staff planning and optimal staff planning
- Determines which resources (financial, staffing and organization) and time schedules are required to achieve objectives
- Prepares budget and forecast
- Manages P & L
Ambassador
- Contributes to Tigo’s network(s) in own area of expertise
- Ensures trade materials are in place (brand application)
- Entrepreneur/Sales & Distribution Management
- Ensures that market insight from a sales perspective is provided
- Sets sales and distribution goals and follows up on results
- Ensures proper DMS methodology
- Drives penetration and sales of core products
- Ensures availability
- Gets market insight and articulates it in a proper way to be part of the designing process (+ product assurance)
- Consolidates information (fine setting fact based approach)
- Boosts innovation
- Ensures customer service level
- Identifies new business opportunities
- Identifies early warnings competitors, fraud, dealer ethics, service level
- Validates commission structure
- Validates customer profitability (corporate)
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- University degree, preferable in business administration/engineering
- Master degree in business management
- Senior managerial experience with field and operation experience preferable in FMCG
