Kariakoo Markets Corporation is an autonomous Government Institution established under the Kariakoo Markets Corporation Act No. 36 of 1974 (Revised by the Act No. 16 of 1985, to manage and control the Kariakoo Markets and establish and manage other markets in the City of Dar Es Salaam.
Administratively the Kariakoo Markets Corporation is under the President’s Office – Regional Administration and Local Government. The Corporation therefore invites applications from suitably qualified Tanzanians to fill the following vacant job positions:

ASSISTANT SYSTEM ANALYST – 1 POST
Duties and Responsibilities

• Runs the Corporation’s server.
• Registers new users in the corporation network and defining their access levels.
• Provides training to new users of our network.
• Manages information technology and computer systems in the corporation.
• Plans, Organizes, Controls, Evaluates and Coordinates IT and electronic data operation
• Ensures security of data, network access and backup system.
• Advises on purchasing of ICT appliances.
• Performs monitoring and review of system performance
• Designs, develop, implement and coordinate IT systems in the corporation
• Develops and improves service delivery in line with the corporation strategies on the use of ICT system.
• Troubleshoots and solves ICT incidents and problems
• Develops and improves ICT skills.
• Performs any other duty as may be assigned by Supervisor.  

Preferred Qualifications
At least a Diploma in Computer Sciences, Information Systems or equivalent from any reputable institution and a Certificate of Secondary Education (Form IV or VI).
