Solar
water pump supply company is seeking a dedicated, responsible and
service minded individual able to manage pump and solar array
installation, repair, and troubleshooting.JD: Solar Water Pump Installation Technician
The Solar Water Pump Installation Technician is a position that includes the following duties:
-Job preparation including assembling parts, supplies and materials
-Training helpers and maintaining a safe working environment
-Responsible for maintaining and repairing company issued equipment
-Administrative work including reports, timesheets

Site work activities to include:
Excavation, trenching, concrete foundations, backfilling
Mechanical assembly of structure for solar panel structures.
Installation & testing of solar panels and panel wiring
Installation & testing of solar water pumps
Installation of accessories including control boxes and float switches (where required)
Testing equipment
Installation of electrical conduit, control wiring, and pump controllers
Requirements
Minimum capabilities and experience include:
1-3 years previous pump installation and repair experience as Helper or Pump Installer
Working understanding of pumps, motors, wells, electricity, controls, solar panels, and solar array wiring
Mechanical and/or electrical aptitude
Experience with electrical test equipment
Ability to learn, remember, and take direction
Ability to problem-solve when faced with obstacles
School Diploma
Ability to read, write, and perform general mathematics
Clean and professional presentation
Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds without straining, pull, and kneel
Valid driver’s license with good driving record
Preferred (not required):
-Technical Training Certifications
