About UsOne Planet School Dodoma, a member of One Planet Schools Ltd, has been opened recently at Dodoma, the Capital city of the United Republic of Tanzania. We aim to offer much needed quality education to local and international community here. Classes range from kindergarten to A level, following the English National Curriculum and Cambridge International Education syllabus.
Our pupils are encouraged to develop confidence, self-assurance and self-discipline. They learn to work hard and work independently as well as to appreciate success. We endeavour to prepare our young people to be equipped to meet the demands and the realities of growing up in the 21st century. Our high quality A level education prepares students for life at university and beyond.
We achieve this through our personalised, dynamic curriculum, our careers and aspirations programme and extensive enrichment opportunities, encouraging our young people to thrive as principled, well-rounded young men and women. We enjoy strong partnerships with businesses and universities, providing students with academic tutoring, an experience of university life and activities to promote personal development.
The school environment and the standard of teaching are excellent, and these allow each student to gain the most from these vital school years. Our staff are well qualified to bring out the best in all the students. In addition to guiding students on their academic journeys from kindergarten through primary to IGCSEs and A levels based on Cambridge International Education’s (CIE) curriculum, the teachers also train them in music, arts and a wide range of sporting and recreational activities. We also prepare students to sit for NECTA exams if they choose to do so.

Minimum requirements
• Bachelor Degree in Education
• 5 years of previous teaching experience in an International School
• Cambridge International Education teaching experience is preferred
• Ability to offer more than one subject is an advantage
• Management experience is a must for the position of the Principal
