JOB DESCRIPTION
- Oversee the execution of the bank's project governance framework across the Group.
- Establish and manage a change control framework that proactively monitors project execution against the defined metrics and best practices.
- Continually reviews the effectiveness of the bank's project Management process and provide key input to the Project Management policy and guidelines.
- Implement and manage a project MIS and reporting strategy according to the business requirements.
- Respond effectively to noted deviations against established project governance standards ensuring continuous improvement.
- Project Progress Monitoring - Monitoring schedules and ensure they are adjusted as project progressed.
- Defining of KPIs that utilize Earned Value Management concept to facilitate monitoring and reporting of projects in the bank's portfolio to facilitate adequate reporting and flagging off adverse deviations.
- Development of a project financial framework that works efficiently with Commercial services and Finance to ensure timely settlement of project vendor accounts.
- Customization of standard Prince 2 Templates for utilizationaccross the group that will facilitate standardization of project, programme and portfolio management across the group.
- Main custodial of the bank's project management process and procedures.
- Development of standardized templates according to the Prince2 framework for adoption across the group.
- Coaching and training of Project teams and project managers accross the group on the Prince2 project governance framework and agreed project management.
- Establishing and monitoring SLA's between Operations and Service delivery and Senior Suppliers.
Experience 5 years
Education Level Degree
Qualifications
Engineering related fields or professional qualifications in Project Management.
