Key Position Accountabilities
The job holder is responsible and accountable for (but not limited to) the following:
Ensure Key Account Plans are in place at all accounts over a stipulated category revenue, and sales strategies implemented to maximise product sales and achieve volumes and margins.
Develop SMART objectives at account level driving incremental profit for the organization.
Keep abreast with competitor products, promotions and category / customer share to anticipate any macro/micro Market developments and communicate within the Liquor Business Unit.
Achieve monthly objectives set by the Country Manager following monthly meetings between Country Manager by keeping an accurate record of key performance indicators.
Effectively develop and contribute to setting up of an account support budget within set parameters together with the Country Manager
Implement and execute an outlet journey plan which would include significant daily or weekly travel to all the On Trade locations and update the Customer Record Management (CRM) system accordingly on a daily and weekly basis
Achieve key brand volumes / objectives / strategies set and communicated by the Country Manager, on a quarterly basis.
Supporting key events by assisting in the preparation and being present during the event to see it through, which can mean working outside normal working hours
Providing monthly feedback on company performance, market performance, competitor analysis at the category/product/customer/agency level and provide accurate forecasts for all key product lines, by customer, to avoid out-of-stock scenarios
Manage managing timely collections of customer payments to ensure that all accounts are paid and collected on time
Contribute to the development of a bespoke outlet wine lists and provide wine training for all F&B staff maximizing company market share.
Assist in the retail shop where necessary to host the On Trade customers for wine tasting events and to introduce new product lines to increase sales and distribution.
Perform other duties as requested by the Line Manager.
Essential
