Kanisa la Upendo wa Kristo Masihi (KIUMA) is a church-related organization which deals with various activities to serve to needing local community around Southern corrido based in Matemanga Tunduru District. Main function including: Secondary school operation, Hospital operation, various training institutions. The Church of the Love of Christ the Messiah
Wish to immediately fill the vacant post of Finance Director
PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION
The Finance Director shall ensure the operation of effective system of control of the church and related institutions’ assets and liabilities. He/ She shall provide financial and management accounting services for the church including budgeting and budgetary control.
Develop and maintain good public relation/ Donors and provide competent advice to management in personnel welfare.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the full range of the church finance administration in accordance with the approved rules and regulations
Ensure sound financial management practices are developed and maintained
Provides effective financial control systems on all capital projects financed by donors by liaising fully with other managers
Keep proper books of accounts including preparation of periodic/ annual reports, management reports, and statements
Coordinate and arrange for outsourced services for the church
Makes coordination with external auditors
Prepares in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards, consolidated annual accounts of the church
Undertake training of staff under the section and
Perform any other duties assigned by management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
Holder of Degree in business, Finance, Accounting or equivalent and CPA (T) or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Knowledgeable in using SAGE PASTEL accounting software

Must demonstrate integrity and professionalism
Must be able to work independently and under tight time schedules
