Country Account Manager (IT Sales) – Tanzania
A client seeks to hire a qualified candidate for the position of a Country Account Manager.
The Account Manager will contribute to a high performance environment in order to achieve and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction as well as the overall regional targets.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Selling & engaging resellers by leveraging internal brand resources to offer value to the channel & moving deals and projects to close
Qualifying security, availability & virtualization opportunities using go-to-market strategies
Consistent growth of active reseller base within the allocated region
Facilitating value-add partner enablement programs; trainings, boot-camps, briefings & marketing events
Respond to RFP's and follow up with customers.
Develop an account management plan to sell to customer based on their business need.
Build and strengthen the business relationship with customers within existing accounts. Ensure that all their needs are being met.
Provide status information to your Manager including forecast/pipeline information.
Identify customer references that can be utilized when reference selling.
Work with Pre-Sales support teams on complex orders or requests.
Pipeline & forecast management and reporting
Generating and following up on business leads
Qualifying leads and prioritizing opportunities within the territory
Continuous learning and development based on product knowledge and certifications

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Knowledge Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and experience in SAP would be a strong advantage.
Knowledge of internal processes and policies within scope of work


Desired Skills & Attributes Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business IT or a related field
At least four (4) years' working experience in a similar role (IT Sales)
Relevant basic product knowledge and certifications (IT Solutions) – any related product certifications (Datacentre, Enterprise, Networking, Security, UCC, Mobility e.g. Cisco, NetApp, Juniper, Avaya, Plantronics and other relevant)
Knowledge of the market and industry
Strong relationship management skills 


Key Competencies
Ability to work in a multicultural environment
Familiarity with developing a business plan in conjunction with these cross functional groups.
Strong analytical ability - in order to understand customer requests and to be able to develop and discuss solutions.
Team-player - who can work with the entire team to execute a sale
