Required qualifications and Experience
The position holder should have CPA (T) or equivalent qualifications, be registered with NBAA as Certificated Public Accountant, with a minimum of five (5) years post professional qualification experience in the field. Post graduate qualification in Finance and for accounting will be an added advantage,

Key Duties and Responsibilities
(i) To supervise all accounting activities and maintain the corporation accounting books in accordance with International financial and reporting standards
(ii) To oversee the preparation of annual plan and budget and monitor the implementation of such plan and budget
(iii) To maintain budget measures and to ensure that the corporation activities conform as much as possible to the budget.
(iv) To update accounting manuals, rules and regulations and recommend changes in financial policies
(v) To exercise overall budgetary control of the corporate funds.
(vi) To establish proper system for the management of the corporation collections including their transfer from various NIC branches
(vii) To monitor and establish adequacy of corporate capital base
(viii) To prepare periodic financial statements to facilitate constant review of the corporation financial status
(ix) To initiate the valuation of assets so as to reflect their current value in the Corporation financial statements and maintain an up to date register of fixed assets
(x) To carry out constant cash flow reviews, bank reconciliations and verification of all accounting transactions and prepare periodic reports on liquidity management in collaboration with Planning and Investment department and the status of the short - term and long-term investment portfolio
(xi) To make all necessary preparation for the corporation accounts to be audited in accordance with legal requirements and assist the auditors in carrying out their work

REMUNERATION
Attractive remuneration will be given to successful applicants in accordance with the pertaining institution's remuneration package offered to Performance based Fixed Contract employees. Entry salary will depend on proven experience.
