Admin and Finance Manager Fixed term contract , Part Time
Dar-es-salaam, Salary : Negotiable
Description
Responsilbilies
Manage financial and administration activities to achieve financial goals.
Monitor and manage expenditures within allotted budget.
Develop and maintain standard financial and administrative procedures.
Respond to customer queries/issues in a timely manner.
Review all invoices and make the relevant payments in a timely manner.
Review accounting discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
Assist in implementing standard accounting policies.
Ensure the preparation and maintenance of all financial records.
Supervise preparation of all monthly and annual finance reports in a timely manner.
Supervise and manage payroll processing and tax filing activities.
Develop overall goals for the finance and administration departments.
Identify and resolve financial and administrative issues.
Skills and Qualifications
Experience or strong capabilities in the Administrative management of a company: HR,Legal, Admin, Tax and accounting.
Masters in Audit or Accounting or Management
1to 3 years’ experience in the same field
Knowledge of QuickBooks and sage (not mandatory)
Knowledge in French writing and speaking (not mandatory)
Ability to work odd hours and under pressure
Team Spirit
Pay attention to detail
0-3years experience
Bookeeping of accounts (including sales invoices, purchases invoices, Fixed assets registrar, calculation of depreciation, inventory holding, petty cash management, bank reconciliation, interCo reconciliation and invoicing, internal billing, filling, liaise with auditors for yearly accounts, any other related accounting and administrative job)
