SUMMARY
Cleaning supervisor & trainer will be required to perform supervisory duties within the cleaning operations in order to meet business needs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following: Other duties may be assigned
-Schedule and coordination of cleaning teams to complete daily, weekly, quarterly and annual janitorial tasks
· Networking with other department heads to coordinate cleaning activities for their area
· Maintain department budget, estimate costs and keep financial records for corporate
· Monitor and ensure the training of new personnel.
· Assess the condition of surfaces to be cleaned and select cleaning methods (e.g. sweeping, mopping, washing, sealing, vacuuming, shampooing, polishing, degreasing, sanitizing).
· Develop work plans setting parameters for time and work flow.
· Select and prepare appropriate machines and tools to be used.
· Train on how to prepare cleaning solutions by mixing water and detergents or acids in containers according to specifications.
· Notify Facility managers about the need for repairs.
· Participate in the preparation of meeting areas for meetings, seminars, and other staff/client functions.
· To adhere to existing working practices, methods, procedures, undertake relevant training and development activities and to respond positively to new and alternative systems
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Ø Previous experience in a cleaning environment
Ø Previous experience of managing a team
Ø The ability to implement and adhere to standards and procedures
Ø Health and Safety experience including, Health and Safety and Manual Handling
Ø Basic office skills
Ø Good interpersonal skills
Ø Smart appearance and professional manner
Ø Resilience, with the ability to work under pressure
Ø Must be available immediately
